ATR International started with a simple insight: technical hiring shouldn’t be guesswork. In 1988, two immigrants in Silicon Valley combined engineering experience and career counseling knowledge to address the frustration companies had finding the right technical talent—and the frustration candidates felt being misrepresented by generic recruiters.

That partnership grew into a business rooted in precision recruiting, customer focus, and a belief that people and relationships matter. Over 35,000 placements later, ATR has expanded beyond its original footprint, serving organizations and professionals across the U.S. and beyond in industries where hiring errors can carry real operational risk.
